Services
Doghouse Portraits offers photography of pets with their owners in the home they share. Specifically dogs. See how Seattle’s very own KING 5 Evening Magazine captured yours truly in action and get a taste for what a session could look like for you and your pup! Some portraits will be of you together, others will exclusively feature your furball. No matter what, the mood will be light and fun, and the style of the photos is guaranteed to be modern, creative, full of love, and unique. In terms of what to expect, there's a good chance I'll forget my manners when you first open the door as I will probably greet your dog before I have enough sense to say hi to you. Within minutes of unpacking my camera, I'll be on my belly on the floor getting to know your furry best friend.
30-60 MINUTE IN-HOME SESSION
Some dogs' attention spans are better than others. 45-ish minute photo sessions have proven to be the sweet spot for photographing owners with their furry loves. Plan to hang out in your living room, kitchen, front stoop or even your rooftop deck. The whole point is to be in your house. Session fee $125.
CUSTOM PRODUCTS
After your photo session, you'll review a proofing gallery of the best photos (30 on average) from which you will purchase printed products and/or digital files. Printed products such as framed or loose prints, acrylic wall hangings and bamboo blocks. Loose prints as low as $20, digital files for $85.
“Our photo shoot with Nata was so much fun! Normally I don’t love being in front of the camera but Nata made it feel incredibly relaxed and natural. And our puppy, Sumo, absolutely adored her - I couldn’t believe how well she held his attention and kept him interested!”

$375 / SESSION FEE & PRODUCT CREDIT
You’ll invest a minimum of $375 which includes a $125 session fee. The session fee covers ~45 minutes of in-home photography, travel to/from your Seattle area home (within 20 miles of Pike Place Market), time spent working on your photos (downloading, backing up, and selecting the best photos for you to review, prepping for print and ordering from labs, inspecting lab work and re-packaging for shipment). The balance of your $375 minimum spend is a $250 credit toward your product purchases, which you'll select once photo proofs are ready for you to review. Thus, $125 goes to Doghouse Portraits, and you’ll spend $250+ in product purchases. The product menu is listed below. Shipping and tax are additional, and a travel fee may apply to homes outside of the Seattle metropolitan area. Preferred methods of payment are cash or personal check. Add $30 for VISA credit card payments on $500+ purchases. CLICK HERE TO SEE IMAGES OF THE PRODUCTS LISTED BELOW.

MINI PHOTOS
Not the texture of an old school Polaroid, but a fun, similar look in a 3.3x4 print. Perfect for keeping a pile on a coffee table, putting them on your fridge, or inserting into a greeting card. IMPORTANT - the paper is 3.3x4 but the image size is 2.85x2.85. Proofs are typically cropped to an 8x12 format. Images use for these mini photos need to be cropped to square so keep that in mind when creating your order and looking at the gallery of proofs because a fair amount of the edges of the image will be cropped out.
Matte $1.50 each
Lustre $1 each
A word about frames… The dimensions of frames with a white mat, like an 11x14 framed print offered in the Dane product collection, means an 8x10 print is surrounded by a white mat and the total exterior dimensions are 11x14. If no mat is listed, e.g., “1 8x12 framed print, no mat”, then the size of the frame means that’s the size of the print (8x12) and the total exterior dimensions are a bit bigger depending on the exact molding. Standard Nataworry molding is gallery black.
“We absolutely loved working with Nata! She was fast, energetic, and fun. We are so thankful to have photos of our family that include our 10 year old dog Maddie. I highly recommend Nata, she was patient and kind to both Maddie and our 2 year old daughter, and the photos she took of this special time in our lives will be treasured for lifetimes to come.”

Hi! I'm Renata "Nata" Steiner of Nataworry Photography. Professional portrait photography is my full-time focus in Seattle, WA, USA when I'm not traveling with my husband. Our dearly departed rescue pup Griffin, AKA, G, G-Love, G-Money, Super G, Griffers, Griffy, Whoozhers, Monkey Bear, etc., is a big reason behind why I started Doghouse Portraits, the dog-focused part of my business, Nataworry Photography.
